Profhilo® offers a distinct alternative to traditional fillers, thanks to its versatile applications and many benefits for non-surgical cosmetic procedures.
What Is Profhilo®?
Unlike traditional fillers that focus on volumising it is designed to improve the overall quality and hydration of the skin. The magic lies in its composition - a unique blend of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This combination provides stability to the dermis, contributing to a volumetric and subtle lifting effect.
Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (L-HA) has a slow-release mechanism, making it exceptionally biocompatible. This feature avoids triggering inflammatory responses, reducing the risk of swelling, a common concern with some traditional fillers.
Where Profhilo® Works
Facial Rejuvenation: Its primary application is facial rejuvenation and its formulation allows it to spread over a larger area, offering a natural-looking result. It is particularly effective in treating areas prone to signs of ageing, such as fine lines, wrinkles and loss of elasticity. The treatment's ability to hydrate and stimulate collagen production contributes to a youthful and radiant complexion.
Neck and Décolletage: Profhilo® addresses those tell-tale signs of ageing I see in many of my patients, providing a gentle lift and improving skin quality.
Upper Arms: Sagging skin on the upper arms, a concern for many individuals, can be effectively addressed. The treatment tightens and lifts the skin, offering a non-invasive solution to the age-related changes in this area.
Natural-Looking Results
One of the standout benefits of Profhilo® is its commitment to providing natural-looking results. It subtly enhances the skin's quality, ensuring that the outcome is a refreshed, rejuvenated, yet entirely natural look.
Because it works on a larger area, it doesn't just target specific wrinkles or lines but improves the overall texture, hydration, and elasticity too. The procedure itself take around 20 minutes and the superficial nature of the injections ensures minimal bruising or downtime (although you will notice lumps on your skin afterwards, but these disappear within a day or two).
You'll notice the results in a couple of weeks and the effects last around 6 to 9 months; however, the stimulation it initiates continues longer, providing sustained improvements in skin quality. I recommend a series of treatments, one month apart, with follow-up top-ups.
